Die Band Anfang 1995 gründete sich Divine Embrace als Nebenprojekt diverser in anderen Lokalbands spielender Musiker. Mit der Zeit avancierte das eigentliche Nebenprojekt unvorhergesehen zum musikalischem Hauptinteresse der jeweiligen Beteiligten, so daß man sich schon bald entschloß, das Hauptaugenmerk auf diese neue Formation zu legen. Im Laufe der Zeit nahm man diverse Demos auf, war jedoch durch personelle Probleme nur bedingt in der Lage, die Band konstruktiv weiter zu bringen. Mit dem Einstieg eines neuen Schlagzeugers im Sommer 1998 gelang es letztendlich durch kontinuierliches Proben eine gewisse Konstanz in den Bandalltag zu bringen. Anfang 1999 begab man sich für eine Woche ins Studio, um das erste vollständige Album einzuspielen. Ziel der Band ist es, progressiv angehauchten Deathmetal zu spielen ohne sich dabei in zu verschachtelten Strukturen zu verzetteln, als auch zu versuchen, den Aspekt der Abwechslung nicht aus den Augen zu verlieren. Ende Januar 2000 verließ Schlagzeuger Jörg die Band und wurde durch Frank Hoffmeister, der auch schon früher bei uns gespielt hatte, ersetzt. Seit Ende 2001 liegt dieses Projekt auf Eis. Die Zeit wird zeigen, ob es eine Fortsetzung geben wird ... Our Band Early 1995 Divine Embrace was founded as a Project of some local band´s musicians.While time had been passing the Project became the main focus of it´s members, so that the musicians decided to spend all there time on the new Project.Although some Demos had been recorded, internal problems slowed down the progress of development. After introducing a new drummer summer 1998 the band succeeded in practising continously.Early 1999 the band took the effort ,of one week, to record their very first complete album. Their Purpose was to maintain progressive Death Metal without deeply mixed structures but with a reasonable amount of variety. Late January 2000 drummer Jörg Burkhardt left the band and was replaced by Frank Hoffmeister, who already has played in the band some time ago. Since 2001 the project has been put on hold.
